Despite the recent unpredictable weather, thousands turned out for the annual Tockwith Show on Sunday the 6th of August. Taking place on the Show Field just outside Tockwith, one of the largest community events in the area had a vast array of events, activities, and entertainment on offer. From a children’s discovery zone, gun dog demonstrations, cookery and crafting shows, a farmers’ market, classic vehicles, and gymkhana to giant tortoises.
At Evans Homes we were delighted to support this annual event and enjoyed meeting the local community on our stand, including several residents from our prestigious Regency Place development in Tockwith who were visiting the show. We were able to discuss the stylish homes available with visitors and had a lot of entrants in our competition to guess the number of bricks it takes to build the Acacia 4 bed-room house type. These varied greatly and one visitor to our stand won a bottle of Moet and Chandon champagne.
Sales Advisor at Regency Place, Jayne Gibson, says “It was lovely to be able to go to the show and welcome visitors to our stand. Our Evans Homes development at Regency Place in Tockwith is part of the community and we were able to create awareness amongst visitors to the show of the 4 and 5 bed-room new homes available in the village.”
