Last night, the winners of the Leeds Sports Awards were announced recognising the sporting achievements of athletes, coaches, administrators and volunteers at at all levels of sport, during the last twelve months. As Beacons Of The City, and as part of the Evans Property Group, Evans Homes sponsored and presented two awards at the prestigious event at Elland Road, to recognise the contributions to the success of sport at grassroots level in the city – The Community Coach Of The Year and The Community Club Of The Year.
It was difficult to choose the winners from a list of finalists that had all made huge contributions to sport in the city. Ranging from different sports including running, football, netball, triathlon and local organisations and individuals supporting the community, youth and junior age groups the awards presented are below.
Mark Connors, Managing Director at Evans Homes said “ We have recently opened our two fabulous Show Homes at Skelton Lakes and we will also be starting another development at Whinmoor in Leeds later on in the year.
